Asian Festival Reels Off on April 18th

The annual Asian Festival reels off on April 18th and 19th at the Heritage Square Park in downtown Phoenix.

A yearly project of the Arizona Asian American Association (AAAA), the Asian Festival features cultural exhibits and presentations from 11 Asian groups in Arizona.

"Experience the authentic Asian ethnic performing arts, cuisine, and arts and crafts," Bea Chaves said.

There would likewise be a display of Asian food by several Asian restaurants.

The event on April 18th is from 10 in the morning to 7 in the evening while the event on April 19th is from 10 in the morning to 6 in the evening.

Chaves said, the two-day event is free to the public.
